get drunk, tell people what i think, and slink out of town (again?!?). wow, this could be a real jerry springer event for me. pat, i didn't see the pajama party coordinator on the list of appointed officials, but if bill flore can organize a golf tournament- then i think a pajama party would not be a problem and you should get the recognition that you are due. semper ubi sub ubi, richard
Yippee! Hartness House phone # toll free 1-800 -732-4789. Let's have a pajama party!!!!

Happy Belated Birthday...........A book of your own poems is such a wonderful idea. I hope you enjoyed the day.

hi, i am glad a little "last year of the 60's- 1972" fervor is coming together. i don't care if i wear a john candy face or a steve martin face. i just love the look in kid's eyes when you give them some candy. it is worth raising your mask and making eye contact. showing them that your pretty sure that you love them by making eye contact- it is the best community service that i think you can do. the whole idea of the alumni day parade is that there is a story that came before today and you tell that story by being a really wonderful person that reaches out and makes contact. that's all from here. peace-out-cosmo-dogs! richard
You're exactly right Karen. OM is now called Destination Imagination or / DI. It's challenging and fun. I've been an appraiser for 4 years now and really enjoy it. I may take over one of our school teams next year. It'll depend I think on the TN trip. There's so much to learn.
Karen, you mentioned Odyssey of the Mind. My brother's daughter is part of that competition. I think her group is going to Detroit at the end of May.

Kathi, yes I decided I will come to the reunion this time! I didn't RSVP yet, but I'll do that soon. By the way, do you have the telephone number of the Hartness House so I can call and reserve a room? I'll be coming by myself. Avi will be coming with me in July on the trip to Israel and then Sicily with my family, so I guess that' s enough traveling for him.

Avi and the kids surprised me for my birthday. They gathered together almost all my poems and sent them in to a company that puts them together in book form. So I now have a book of my poems! That was a nice idea. I did catch some proofreading mistakes, and there were some poems in there I might not have included if I had known, but I'm really glad to have the book to give out to family and friends and whoever is interested.
I'm off to Knoxville, TN in mid May with my Destination Imagination Team. They have won the right to compete at TheGlobal Competition at UTN. Should be loads of fun. I'm even getting paid to go. I love volunteering but ouch the paycheck can suffer.

I'm glad you have a float idea. Sounds like a good one Richard. I sent in my rsvp a while back. Hope it made it.

Roland, thanks but I can't take credit. I didn't foward your address. I don't know who had it and did. I don't have it, at least I don't think I do/did. So whoever did, we thank you.
We are still firming up details for the float...Richard, everyone liked your idea of the Park Bench scene from the movie, so that is what we are planning to do. Very simple....no one has a lot of time to work on an elaborate float. Thanks Richard! We are really hoping for at least 80 people to come to the reunion dinner. That is the number that was given to the Hartness House, who needed a specific number way back in October. So come on everybody send back your replies!
Lori, are you coming?? Karen V??? Anybody else????
Rain expected here tomorrow into Saturday. Temps in the 60s today.
Karen, glad you had a great trip to St. Thomas. Sounds lovely...
They are showing the VERMONT FALLEN documentary at Springfield High School on May 9th for the student body and later that evening at the Congregational Church for the public. Family members are asked to be there...not really sure if I want to watch it twice in one day but will. Happy Thoughts.................
Hey Pat, thanks for forwarding the info to Deb. I received my invitation et el yesterday. It was mailed back on the 11th. So much for snail mail eigh? Atl area is really bad with their delivery and thats why I got a pob as when I had an actual mail box it just didn't even arrive sometimes. Very hot and sticky already. Storms coming in today so after our Co meeting this am we elected not to work (as its mostly outside survey stuff) so I am catching up on little things that just never get done. God Bless and my best to all who read this.

My trip to VT was great in many ways. The mountains are fabulous even in this time of year when things are not in bloom. Rutland was in tough straights. Still some power outages were still being work on and I saw quite a bit of tree damage in yards. Still it was good to be there. I went by our former homes. Not generally a good idea. Proved to be the case here as well. No one does to your home what you would do.
Hey Pat, how was Rutland doing?
Everything you need to know Roland is posted under reunion news for the class on classmates.com. I don't know that I'm comfortable putting someone elese's mailing address here in a public forum. You might also let them know of you name change so their roles are complete.

interesting turn of events got me to finish up courses in civil engineering and was offered a great position with a national co..... and I took but can work only a few town away. full benefits plus co vehicle & stock. Hard to find one of those these days and the people are nice too. I just keep pinching myself. Hoep all are unfrozen by now up yonder. We've had the air on for about a month.
Ok pat..... please send me the info on who to send $$ to and how much. thanks.
