Hi Lori, I just got back from a mid-west trip. Great to be back home. I definitely empathized with both, although the American woman could easily be blamed for her problems. It was really sad and troubling because of the bottomless feelings that I was left with.

How is sunny LA? Please go to art openings, music events, and walks along the beach 'cause I can't.

That's definitely one of the messages! Did you empathize with both sides or just with the Persian family? Some people I spoke to didn't seem to empathize much with the American woman. I did.
Lori, That is a good movie and certainly is not a comedy. Do you think that the message was that you should pay attention to your mail and pay your bills so that everyone doesn't have to die? The acting was great.
Richard, you asked about good movies. If you like depressing ones, we saw a good one recently--The House of Fog and Sand. I like movies that make me cry. There aren't too many comedies I like.
