A lot of Israelis go to Turkey because it's a short plane ride from here. Everyone I know who has been there has really liked it--good food, friendly people, colorful, beautiful, etc. We're going to a place called Dalyan in the southern part of the country. I'll let you know afterwards how it was. I hope you're all having a good summer (where are the rest of you?!).

There is a forecast that indicates that summer may come to Vermont next week. Also, I heard that it has been cold, windy and rainy in central Europe lately, but I have a feeling that Turkey will be beautiful. I hope so! In the past, I have never considered going there. I recently met and have become friends with an architect from Turkey and now I would like to go.

Third place in the national tournament? He must be really good!!! I've been busy seeing family and friends here. Yesterday I was at the beach and burnt my legs. I used sunscreen but not on the bottom part of my legs. That was stupid. Now I'm staying away from the beach until my legs don't feel so stiff! My son Rafi and his girlfriend are arriving on July 21 and Avi and Danit are coming on July 26. Omer won't be able to come this year because he finally found a job that's connected to what he studied (merchandising) and that he's excited about. He'll miss the big family vacation to Turkey this year with my whole family. Oh well. I'm glad he finally found something he likes, though.

I was in Florida for my younger son to go to the National AAU Taekwondo tournament. It was pretty crazy with lots of kicking, punching, and yelling. My son placed third in sparring for his age, weight, and level. I think both of my sons are now big enough and capable of kicking my ass. I am brushing up on my diplomacy skills.
