Spring has finally arrived in VERMONT! It was close to 70 today and will be for the weekend. Got out my little charcoal grill and cooked out for supper tonight. Last Sunday we had a Northeaster and this Sunday we can wash the car. I probably won't but....one could. I finished painting my livingroom today. Went wild with color....from white to buttercream....lol. Have a great weekend everybody...nice to see others returning....Happy Thoughts........

I'm glad it worked Eric. Talk to you again soon. things are changes here all the time on the site.

All the members: now being called authors; who have been here are able to continue but those who had invitations pending will need to be re- invited. Even the list of those folks is no longer available to be read. So I'll try to reemember who was on that list and I'm work on it when I get back to Presque Isle.

Off to Rutland in the a.m. Still lots of power outages there I here. Guess I'll get to see for myself. Then back to Maine later in the day. Home for sure on saturday. At least I hope so. G'night all for a couple of days.
Patti
Thanks Pat, got back in, leaving for Fla in the morning, back middle next week. I'll try to check on the site but probably won't get a chance. If anybody else is having same issue, sending a new invitation may help. I'm sorry I don't know where anyone on list is.
Later,
Well we know where Roland is, don't we??? You know all about the reunion just by reading it hear but you'll need to send in your $.

Jon lewis is a Classmates .com member so hopefully he is seeing the info there. I sent an e-mail to Jane Haseltine no word yet.

The things is here that there are less than a dozen of us using this site so I don't think we will get much more help from each other regarding missing addresses.

Given the apparent concerns at the Hartness House, maybe somone needs to look into a different venue and try to et ack the deposit.
Okay here is an up to date list on who we cannot get an address for.
If you know any of these email me at mailto:jjjlll@verizon.net

To spend 14 years with cancer is quite a feat. I imagne she was so very glad to outlast what I suppose must have been the original timeline. Mary must have been a very strong and determined woman.

I've known Mary since grade school and have seen her around lots, her daughter went to Union Street School, etc...They live in Bird Land. Mary was not a complainer about her illness which they discovered during her pregnancy with her daughter. I admire her fight and committment to her family. The service was very upbeat, though very sad. I can not imagine loosing a mother that young.
Pat, I hope that you have a good trip and a nice visit. I hadn't heard much about Rutland weather damage. It is still raining here. Hopefully, the Spring weather will come SOON. You should come for the meeting...anyone else is more then welcome. Tomorrow 4/18 at 6:30 at McKinleys.
Boy kathi, you're a good person to go to the funeral. It would be awful to loose your mom at 14. Did she live in the area?

I'm at the Best Western in Waterville. Heading to Vt in the morning. I'll be going to williston and visit with Rachel for a couple of days and then going on Friday to see Lynne at the Nursing Home. Rutland was really hit hard from I've seen on the news. The nursing home has power but it's pretty bad all around town I hear. Loads of rain on the way down and I"m not really sure what I'll be heading into tomorrow but I need to pick up the last of Dad's things and take some to Lynne also.

Wish I could come to the meeting tomorrow. Wouldn't that be fun!
I just returned from the funeral of our classmate, Mary Burke Emonds who died on April 14th after a long battle with breast cancer. She leaves behind a 14 year old daughter whom she was devoted to. My heartfelt sympathy go out to her family. Happy Thoughts....

I heard back from Mike G. He says we probably know a lot of people in the class of '72. They have a band and probably we'd need to pay a couple of hundred dollars to do this. As we know, because the HH is a hotel and has other guests (besides us I mean) then we can't continue our reunion celebration after 10. Try not to start screaming karen. You party animal you!!!!
Karen, I'm glad your son is okay. Avi always gets nervous when our son Omer rides his bike or skateboards around Santa Monica. There are bike lanes on the road, but car drivers aren't as careful as they should be. Too many cars on the road.

That sounds good--having "our" music at the reunion.
Sorry Richard but what through me was the post about music came from me.

How do you feel about the 1910 Fruitgum Company: 1-2-3 Red Light or the ever popular Ohio Express: Yummy Yummy Yummy, I've got Love in my Tummy.

I get goose bumps just thinking about it
i meant that i like karn v.'s idea to play music from '68 to '72 at the reunion dinner party. maybe if i had mentioned, "get up (i feel like being a) sex machine" by james brown it would have been more obvious.
Mike Graham tells me that they're thinking of giving some money to the class of 77 who are meeting at KJ's. We would then join them later in the evening. I'm guessing that means Kj's would be closed for a private party for the Class of '77.
Another group of mailings has returned, so if you know anyone................

Karen which of your ideas do you suppose Richard is referrin to? I agree with all of them so far.

it was the best music ever!!! it was a gas, gas, gas! how 'bout janis joplin's opening cut on "cheap thrills"? it is called "combination of the two"- i love it and it always gets me on the dance floor. no reason to stay too- wcfr on this whole thing. the band did "music from big pink" and there was so much soul and it just goes on forever. i was just listening to leonard cohen singing "suzanne" today. i like karen's idea!
I have listings of the top 100 songs from each of the years 68 to 72. I'm going to get John's address and send it to him. Hopefully his nephew who is our musical entertainment will play songs from our era. That's what I'd like anyway? Any one else want to weigh in on this? I know Karen V mentioned it with our last reunion but it wasn't done.
