Hey ya'll from Mexico City!!!!!! Friends invited me down and even sent a jet!! Wow! Had a great holiday and New Year. Its been warm here and getting warmer as well as back in GA. We fly back tomorrow sometime.

Yes, the hair is still red....not as bright and with a few blonde highlights.....I don't get gray...just white! My grandfather had beautiful white hair...but I think I'll be an redhead forever....if Lucy could do it, so can I! Glad your house is still intact! and hopefully someone else had more of a headache then you....And don't you know, its your JOB to embarress your children. Remember they embarressed you enough when they were young, its called payback time! Hope for good flying weather on Friday and that my husband will remember to come and get me at the airport!haha....Happy Thoughts to all.

A new grandchild, wow! That's great. I can't imagine all of that just yet- but it will be cool if it happens. I think news of grandchildren, trees falling, and large family occasions would all make kamikazes seem like a good option to me. And, let's see there is my dog's birthday. Fido and I always toss a couple back for that one. Just kidding. Karen you know when to be wicked. I love that!

Congratulations on your new grand daughter Kathi, but I want to know how you still get to have red hair ....... and not gray? My hair dresser is trying to perform miracles with foil and dye on mine!! As for exciting and eventful, do you count a tree coming down on our house on the 19th and piercing the roof as well as coming into the master bath ceiling?? Sixteen for Christmas was exciting. It all went well, except for the last night when I was coaxed into doing kamikaze shots with the young crowd! I did score some points with the cousins but embarrassed a couple of my kids! Oh well. Having some friends in for New Years but it will be low key. I have been watching some of the coverage of the Tsunamis today ... how horrible. Happy New Year to All!

Hi Everyone. Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday. I have a new granddaughter. She was born 12/20 at 9:52 am and weighed 9lb. 5 oz., 21 in long. She has dark hair, which was a little disappointing because my year old grandson has red hair like Nana. Anyways, there is nothing like holding a grandbaby. I will be in Raleigh until Friday and I will fly back home....I will be happy to get home but will miss my daughter and the babies. I wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope that something eventful and exciting happen to each and everyone of you. Happy thoughts .

I finally went snowboarding today. What fun! I hope you are all gaining weight and having a chance to play with family and friends. No more cookies, please- ahh, maybe one more piece of chocolate.
